Guided tour at the Museum of Cultural History

The Museum of Cultural History would like to invite you to a guided tour on Wednesday the 20th of August, 10:00 AM – 12:00 midday. The tour is offered to new students at the department of Social Anthropology to showcase how anthropology and ethnography can be so much more than what one usually encounters in a lecture hall. The tour includes an introduction and two exhibitions. We hope the tour will give you a bit of academic input, showcase some of the work going on at the University and be a place to get to know your new fellow students better.

Introduction to the Museum of Cultural History with a tour for new Social Anthropology students through relevant exhibitions.

10:00 – 10:30 Lecture Hall, 3rd Floor
Introduction to Social Anthropology and Ethnography - The museum today and its role in the academic history.

10:30 – 12:00

The museum is located in Frederiks gate 2, close to the Royal Castle in Oslo.
